Relationship Crisis & Affair Recovery Specialist
For couples navigating infidelity, trust breakdown, or relationship crisis and trying to decide what to do next.
When A Relationship Reaches A Breaking Point It’s Unclear What To Do Next
Trust feels damaged or uncertain
Conversations repeat without resolution
Emotions escalate or shut down
You’re trying to decide whether to repair or separate
Most couples don’t need more conversation.
They need a clear way to understand what’s happening, and what to do next.
About Jazmyne Asaju, LCSW
I am a licensed therapist who works with couples navigating betrayal, trust breakdown, and high stress turning points in their relationships.
For more than a decade, I’ve worked with couples facing questions like:
Can trust actually be rebuilt?
Is the relationship beyond repair?
Why do we keep repeating the same patterns?
Should we try to repair, or let it go?
My work focuses on helping couples understand what happened, and determine what path forward makes the most sense.
When a relationship reaches this level of strain, insight alone is not enough.
It requires:
Structure
Containment
Direct guidance
This is why I work in a focused, intensive format so couples can stay with the conversation long enough to actually move it forward.
What We Work Through
Understanding what led to the current situation
Identifying patterns that developed over time
Clarifying how each partner understands what happened
Determining what options realistically exist moving forward
The goal is not more discussion.
It is to arrive at clarity so you can make a grounded decision about what comes next.
Training & Approach
My work integrates several evidence-based approaches, including:
EMDR
Gottman Method couples therapy
Trauma-informed therapy
Sex therapy and relational intimacy work
These are used as needed within the intensive process depending on what’s happening in the relationship.
Background
I am a Black woman, married for over fifteen years, and the mother of two boys.
I understand that relationships are shaped not only by love, but by stress, expectations, family history, and the patterns we carry with us.
Clients often describe my style as steady, direct, and thoughtful.
Areas Of Focus
Betrayal trauma and affair recovery
Broken trust between partners
High-conflict relationships and repeated arguments
Emotional and sexual disconnection
Individual patterns such as people pleasing and self-abandonment
My practice is inclusive of POC, LGBTQIA+, and sex-positive clients, including those in non-traditional relationship structures.
LOCATION
I work with clients in Georgia and California through virtual sessions.
