GOT QUESTIONS? LET’S GET INTO IT
What to Expect When Working Together
-
After your consult, if we feel it’s a good fit, we’ll schedule your first session and I’ll send intake forms through my secure client portal.
We’ll begin therapy by defining your goals, and we’ll co-create a path forward that fits your needs, whether that’s weekly sessions or a deep dive intensive.
-
It’s a casual, 15 minute video call where you can share what’s bringing you in, ask questions, and get a feel for my vibe and process.
I’ll give you a quick sense of how I’d approach your situation and let you know what service might fit best.
-
Ideally, yes.
It helps us all start with shared insight.
If one partner can’t make it, that’s okay. Just let me know in advance and we’ll make sure their voice gets included in the decision making process.
-
Yes. You can absolutely start with a single session to see how the fit feels. If you’re not ready to commit to a full therapy plan, this gives you a low pressure way to start the conversation.
-
Both. I work with couples in repair, in transition, and in evolution.
You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit though, sometimes it’s just about tuning up before things start drifting.
-
That’s common, and I get it. Therapy can feel intimidating.
I welcome reluctant partners and will help create a space that feels safe and collaborative, not pressured or performative. Just come as you are.
-
Absolutely. Especially for intensives or sex therapy, I often collaborate with clients who already have a primary therapist and just need a focused layer of support. We can coordinate care (with your consent) for the best results.
Services & Scope
-
I currently work with clients in Georgia and California via telehealth only.
-
I absolutely work with individual. As long as the primary concern is relational or attachment-based.
Examples:
Healing after a breakup or divorce
Untangling people pleasing
Dating with secure attachment
Exploring emotional and sexual boundaries
-
I recommend weekly sessions to start, so we can build momentum and safety.
Once progress is evident, we can move to biweekly.
Many clients return for as needed intensives or yearly check-ins during big life transitions.
-
I don’t provide ongoing therapy for:
Active domestic violence
Substance addiction
Acute suicidal ideation
Issues requiring psychiatric or specialized care outside my scope
If these arise during our work together, I’ll refer you to the right level of care.
Choosing Services
-
That’s exactly what the consult call is for.
You’ll share where you are and what you’re struggling with, and I’ll offer a professional recommendation.
-
You’re still welcome.
I work with all kinds of partnerships, including co-parents, non-monogamous constellations, and individuals compassionately navigating separation.
Payments & Insurance
-
Credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, Care Credit, and I partner with Mentaya and Thrizer so you can use your out-of-network benefits with ease.
-
Because your healing deserves privacy, autonomy, and depth, not gatekeeping.
Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis, limit the number of sessions, and often ask for detailed clinical notes to justify your care. That compromises both your privacy and the integrity of our work.
By staying private pay, I can focus on you (not on checkboxes or bureaucracy.)
We get to collaborate on the timeline, goals, and format that actually serves you, not an insurance compant.
If you have out-of-network benefits, you can still use them through Mentaya or Thrizer to get reimbursed.
-
All sessions must be paid in full prior to your service date.
I offer a full refund if, after the initial session, you decide this isn’t the right fit.
For intensives, refunds are available at these check-points:
Half-day: Before the personalized roadmap is delivered
2-day intensive: After Day 1, if you choose not to continue
-
50-minute sessions: $250
Half day intensive $1,350
2 day intensives $4,500
Limited access programs and podcast-based services available for qualifying clients (see below)
-
I see clients Monday–Friday, 8:00am–2:30pm EST.
These hours reflect the life I help others create. One with aligned boundaries, presence, and balance.
Accessibility & Alternatives
-
If cost is a barrier, you can apply for a free recorded session as part of my podcast project.
It’s available to Georgia and California residents only. Here’s what to know:
We record using Riverside, a studio quality platform
Only audio is published (video is for syncing only)
You’ll need to sign a release, and in return, your session is free
In exchange, you’ll offer a testimonial, case study interview, and allow anonymized content to be used in marketing
If you’re selected, I’ll hold a credit card to reserve your spot ($200 no show fee, released after your session).
Privacy & Boundaries
-
Every session is completely confidential, following strict HIPAA standards.
I do not share client information unless required by law or with your written consent.
For podcast sessions, a separate consent process is required and participation is fully voluntary.
-
This is licensed therapy. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia and California.
My work blends clinical insight, trauma informed practice, and relational depth.
That said, the tone is warm and conversational not clinical in the “cold” sense.
-
Yes, all services are currently virtual via a secure telehealth platform.
In person intensives in the Atlanta area are coming soon.
